Love means never having to tolerate abuse
Like many others, Gabby Petito’s story resonated with me. She disappeared and was later found dead after a cross country road trip with her boyfriend, Brian Laundrie. Before her death, 911 was called when a witness saw him slap her, but when cops responded to the call and questioned the couple, they viewed her as the aggressor. She was visibly emotional and upset while he was as calm as could be.
